This game was made for the 30th Secret Jam of Games, a month-long game jam with the absurdly good theme "Mishearings of "Cinco Paus"". Yes, that's why it's called that!
I had to rush a few things to meet the jam deadline, so I already have some updates/improvements planned. In the meantime, let me know what you think!

Mind If i try doing a game with the same Idea, with a lot of variations thought ? (+ credits if it wasnt obvious :)
As long as yours looks distinct from mine and doesn't copy my exact rules, I don't mind! :) Credit is appreciated if my design is a big influence. Thanks!
lovely puzzler!
I'd love to have undo button and maybe... can't we also have a private bathroom for some bedroom? O:)
... maybe you could have windows + bonus when a bedroom get's one
I've had multiple requests for undo, so I'll try to find a good way to include it!
I considered letting bathrooms attach to bedrooms, but decided against it to keep the rules streamlined. I also thought about including windows, but figured there was already enough to think about. But as more people play the game I'll get a better idea of which ideas might be feasible for future versions!
I got the worst score possible without trying
Wow, this is a great little puzzle game! Really scratches my house planning and puzzling itch.
Any thoughts of adding a new game mode with 3 floors? :D
Thanks!! Yes, I've thought about it! In fact, there's technically no limit to how many floors this game could work with...
My next plans for the game involve adding mobile-friendly controls, and that might be a good time for me to try out a 3+ floor version.
Oooooh I really like that
I really don't understand how the comon spaces work and its consuming me
Just hover them, you'll see their scoring condition. They all score 2 points for each room of a specific type adjacent to them.
I really liked it. Perhaps a future feature could be to add a rotation mechanic to the rooms, although I can see how having that constraint is part of the game play. Overall great UI/UX and sketch aesthetic really gives it a blue print feel.
Thanks for playing! I'm not sure what you mean by "rotation mechanic", since you can already rotate the rooms before you place them. Do you mean flipping/mirroring?
Oooh I see. LMAO hadn't noticed.
Cool game :)
I wish rooms will have more various and strange shapes!
My best score so far:
Wow!! That beats my own highest score (260)!
I decided to keep the room shapes simple so that the resulting floor plans feel plausible, and because there's already plenty to think about with the connectivity rules. But now that the jam is over, I might try playing around with them some more and see how it feels.
Wow! Great combination of fantastic RNG and amazing skill!
hmm... This is a very promising premise.
Would you consider a '<span style="color:blue">House</span> of Leaves' mode?
I really like how well the floor plan aesthetic worked for this game, so I might expand on it in the future!
I loved House of Leaves (or, more accurately, I loved The Navidson Record) so taking this in an "impossible architecture" direction is intriguing... (a friend of mine already suggested a backrooms version, lol)
I'm super keen to see what you decide to do! Still though -- it's a good little puzzle game as it is already. Just needs a little sound... and perhaps a reset button when I realise I made a mistake and have to refresh the page.
(Off topic now, but I believe I tracked down a precursor to the Navidson Record... if you have the time, I recommend checking out the graphic novel adaptation of Paul Auster's novella 'City of Glass'.)
yeah - all the bathrooms upstairs. Just like home.
Neat idea and very slick execution! Nice one Chris!
Thanks!! :) Glad to finally release another game!
F-
I might try reading the rules now. But I'm already into it. Cool idea.
